There are multiple reasons a debit card transaction may be declined, below are some of those reasons and how to resolve them.
- The payment amount exceeds the balance in your account.
- What can you do? Check your balance here.
- Incorrect address information.
- What can you do? Check your address on file within Online Banking. Link won't work in app. Must be logged in through a browser.
- Incorrect card information. This includes the CVV2 number on the back of your card.
- What can you do? Double-check the card number, expiration date, name on card, and CVV2 number that was entered online.
- Card is expired.

- Card is not activated.

- The payment amount exceeds your daily spending limit.

- Your debit card has been locked for failed PIN entries.
